Daniel P. Adams, a principal of the firm, earned his B.A. degree from SUNY Albany in 1981 and his J.D. degree from Albany Law School (where he graduated cum laude) in 1996.  Before attending law school he made his living in construction, beginning as a laborer and working his way up to estimator and then project manager, most recently for two prominent mechanical contractors centered in the Hudson Valley.  After law school he became a principle in the Poughkeepsie law firm, Lewis & Greer, where he focused his practice in construction and surety law and commercial litigation.  In 2011 he relocated his family to Rochester to join Adams Bell Adams where his construction experience gives him a unique advantage in his construction law and litigation practice.  Dan appears regularly in state and federal courts throughout New York, as well as before arbitrators and mediators.

Mr. Adams is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association and the Associated General Contractors of New York.  He also lectures regularly on various construction law topics.
